Artisans on Main Souris is an artist-run cooperative in Souris, PEI, celebrating exceptional handmade work by local Island artisans.

Now at our new location at 114B Main Street, our gallery is a place to discover thoughtfully made art, connect with local creators, and experience creativity in many forms — from fine art and pottery to fibre, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, and more.

Welcome to Artisans on Main Souris, a non-profit, artist-run cooperative rooted in community and creativity.

We are glad to be back on Main Street where our bright new gallery space allows us to continue doing what we do best — showcasing high-quality, locally made work while creating opportunities to gather, learn, and make art together.
​
Our cooperative is made up of a diverse group of artists ranging in age, medium, and style, all dedicated to creating and sharing original work. During the gallery season, artists volunteer their time to staff the space, meaning you’ll often meet the maker behind the work when you visit.
​
Outside of the retail season, our space shifts into a creative hub — hosting workshops, paint nights, and drop-in creative gatherings both in the gallery and around the community.
