Barbara Rousseau

Barbara Palmer Rousseau (IG: @bprartpei) is a PEI artist, writer, nature lover, and graduate student at the University of Prince Edward Island. A long-time Ontario resident and former software project manager, Barbara moved to Prince Edward Island in 2020, having fallen in love with the Island several years before. She currently divides her time between Charlottetown and St. Peters Harbour, finding artistic and academic inspiration in the Island’s land/seascapes and wildlife. Her book of illustrated essays about the north shore, Finding Home at the Harbour, is forthcoming in fall 2024 from Island Studies Press.
